 WCBA's launched its new online, interactive "Survival Guide" for teens and their parents. The site offers legal information and resources on all the topics teens face when they turn 18 and face adult responsibilities. nowthatyouare18.org covers topics from credit cards to renting an apartment, from identity theft to car insurance, and from geting arrested to marriage.
Washoe Courts Enforce Rule 10
On December 17, 2007 changes to Second Judicial District Court Rule 10, Form of Pleadings, went into effect. Rule 10 compliance will be strictly enforced effective June 1, 2008. Any document submitted for filing that does not comply with the changes in Rule 10 will be rejected. A copy of Rule 10 is available on our website at www.washoecourts.us.

Member-Only Access for Writ Archives, Member Directory
Beginning Monday, February 4, the searchable Writ archives and member directory will be password protected and available only to current members of WCBA. Members who are current for 2008 will receive a "Welcome" card with username (login) and password by the first week of February. The Writ archives currently feature all of the columns published in Discovery & Arbitration and Family Law Perspectives. Columns from Estates, Across the Line and Judicial Ethics will be added soon.
