Employment

NEVADA LEGAL SERVICES HAS 2 Staff Attorney openings in our Reno office. One position will focus on consumer protection and the other will focus primarily on our poverty law practice areas which include landlord-tenant, subsidized housing, unemployment benefits, social security benefits, and health and welfare issues. Candidates may specify which position they prefer in the application materials. The Staff Attorneys will provide legal assistance to low income Nevadans in a variety of legal areas across northern Nevada and will include representation of clients in courts of all levels as well as before administrative agencies. Both Staff Attorney positions will be required to conduct community outreach and education regarding issues affecting our clients across northern Nevada and travel to rural communities is required.
